this guy was was apparently huge in post-war japan, and immensely influential in his field of music. they even made a statue of him.

i looked at the lyrics of the march of zenigata, which also goes pretty much like you’d think; zenigata, always hunting, faithful to the job, etc.
(also something about “the tear which is wiped with the fist” which i first took to be PUNCH THE TEARS AWAY but on reflection that’s probably not it, no)

so i ran the lyrics through babelfish and based on the garbled result the mamo end theme (which is actually titled ‘Lupin Ondo’, who knew) pretty much goes like you’d expect: i’m lupin, i’m fucking awesome, i steal stuff all over the world, etc.
(also a lot of referencing soviet russia??)
